CEO of TÜV SÜD Auto Service moves up |

Horst Schneider new Member of the Board of Management of TÜV SÜDMunich. With effect from 1 August, Horst Schneider (61) will join the Board of Management of TÜV SÜD AG and take over responsibility for the MOBILITY Strategic Business Segment. Schneider, who has been CEO of TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH since 1995, has been with TÜV SÜD for 35 years.
Dr Manfred Bayerlein will leave TÜV SÜD Group. TÜV SÜD AG and Dr Manfred Bayerlein terminate their collaboration at Dr Bayerlein's request by amicable and mutual agreement. TÜV SÜD AG and the Supervisory Board would like to thank Dr Bayerlein for his consistently outstanding work for TÜV SÜD AG.

After training as an officially authorized expert engineer, Horst Schneider took over several management responsibilities. During his office as CEO of TÜV SÜD Auto Service GmbH, this field of activities underwent further expansion and internationalization. Schneider is also President of the Bavarian Road Safety Organizations, Vice-President of the German Road Safety Organization and member of the Board of Directors of the German Road Safety Council.
