Managing Director, Edelman Digital (India)
Max has over 20 years of experience in the fields of advertising, integrated marketing, branding and communications planning for global brands like Apple, Nike, Oakley, Pizza Hut, Land Rover, Volvo, Saturn and Scion. He has spent the past six years in key (digital) agency leadership positions in China and India, while his experience includes a wide range of new media and integrated creative solutions for new brand launches, product line introductions/extensions and brand re-engineering. His focus at the moment is creating meaningful engagement opportunities (and platforms) that enhance brand-consumer experiences in today’s immersive media environment.
Prior to joining Edelman, Max was associated with JWT India Group as Head of Digital, as well as CEO of Hungama Digital Services (JWT acquired the company in June 2012). Over the years, Max has worked across organisations such as Tribal DDB, India; TBWA\Media Arts Lab - Beijing, China; Energy BBDO, Chicago, Illinois; Goodby Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, California and Wieden+Kennedy, Portland, Oregon, among others.
A few key achievements for include: IMPACT Digital Power 100 – Icons of Digital India (2012), Campaign India Power List (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012), Spikes Asia Digital Jury (2012), Gold Lion (Grand Prix) at Cannes – Nike “Skateboarding” (1998).
Max has completed his B.A in Political Science from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah (USA).
